What are the pitfalls of strategic online interaction? On this problem, Maik Fielitz and me wrote an overview for the Global Network on Extremism & Technology (GNET), explaining three main dilemmas democratic actors are facing when dealing with right-wing extremism in social media: the dilemma of polarization, the dilemma of truth and the dilemma of mobilization. The article is based on a chapter of our book Digitaler Faschismus: Die sozialen Medien als Motor des Rechtsextremismus, published in German last year.
